Проблема в этих строках кода:

// Only for shop order
if ( 'shop_order' != $_POST[ 'post_type' ] )
return $post_id;

Это будет работать для всех других типов сообщений, но оно также будет запущено, когда $_POST[ 'post_type' ] вообще не установлен и срабатывает над предупреждением.

Чтобы исправить это, добавьте проверку, действительно ли она установлена:

if ( !isset($_POST[ 'post_type' ]) || 'shop_order' != $_POST[ 'post_type' ] )
return $post_id;

$_POST['post_type'] не доступен в крючке save_post… Этот хук действия имеет 3 доступных аргумента: $post_id, $post а также $update, Так что вместо этого используйте:

function tcg_save_meta_box_data( $post_id, $post, $update ) {

if ( 'shop_order' != $post->post_type )
return $post_id;
