Если я просматриваю man-страницу для dladdr, он говорит, что мне нужно связаться с -ldl, Но я уже делаю это с llvm-config:

Решение
Библиотека, требующая символы, включена -lLLVMSupport, так -ldl должен прийти после -lLLVMSupport, Я изменил это:
`llvm-config --ldflags --libs core`
К этому:
`llvm-config --libs core` `llvm-config --ldflags`
И компоновщик был успешным.

У меня возникла та же проблема при прохождении учебника по LLVM для llvm-3.4, и, к сожалению, ответ от Мэтью не помог. Для дальнейшего использования я выкладываю новый ответ с проблемами, с которыми столкнулся и как я их исправил.
Я установил LLVM в ~/dev/llvm/install, поэтому я использовал команду, приведенную в учебнике, но заменил llvm-config с путем для моей установки llvm:
clang++ -g -O3 toy.cpp `../llvm/install/bin/llvm-config --cppflags --ldflags --libs core` -o toy

Вопреки тому, что случилось с автором оригинального вопроса, я заметил llvm-config не было даже ссылок на какую-либо системную библиотеку. Тогда я понял, что мне нужно использовать --system-libs чтобы включить нужные системные библиотеки в процесс компоновки:
clang++ -std=c++11 -g -O3 toy.cpp `../llvm/install/bin/llvm-config --cppflags --libs core --ldflags --system-libs` -o toy
Важно всегда ставить --system-libs в конце, чтобы все отсутствующие зависимости были внесены компоновщиком.
Протестировано с LLVM 3.4 и Kubuntu 14.04
