сохранение и открытие без особых проблем.

Теперь я амбициозен и пытаюсь добавить пользовательские теги в свои файлы. Я
читать документацию (посмотреть здесь) и написал тестовый код, который компилируется без
ошибки, но происходит сбой во время выполнения с нарушением доступа при первом вызове
TIFFSetField, который имеет настраиваемое поле (вызывает TIFFSetField с
стандартные поля в порядке).

Мой тестовый код выглядит следующим образом: чуть менее 100 строк, с единственным внешним
зависимость (кроме libtiff), являющаяся моим кодом для открытия тестового изображения из

Следуя указаниям доброго джентльмена по имени Пол Хекберт из списка рассылки пользователей TIFF, вот код, который наконец-то сработал для меня. Было два ключа к нему:

(1) Правильное определение полей TIFFFieldInfo способом, отличным от примера, приведенного в документации.
(2) Использование шаблона «extender» для инкапсуляции вызова TIFFMergeFieldInfo, но при этом до открываем файл. Если я оставляю вызов до открытия файла, то при чтении файла с пользовательскими тегами сразу после открытия файла будет выдано несколько сообщений «Предупреждение, неизвестное поле».
